This summer has been sort of a blurr that looks like NADIA'S FOOT SURGERY! Two weeks after we arrived in the States Nadia had surgery and for over two months, most of what I have done is take care of her and her needs. She was a trooper through all of this.

Nadia was so cute when she woke up after the surgery. Joel and I got to sit with her in the recovery room and here is her Daddy, leaning over to give her a kiss.
What would we have done without the scooter?! This enabled Nadia to keep up with us a little bit instead of the having the bruises that crutches can give. She loved the scooter!
Here is a picture of the incicions before they were healed but after three weeks in a hard cast.
Now the cast is off, she is walking on her two feet with sneakers and this is what the foot looks like...
Nadia, we are proud of you! and so happy that your one foot is straight! now for the other foot!???
What a trooper Nadia is! You can see in the photo that the other foot is crooked - amazing. So thankful she is back on her feet now.
